Keke Palmer’s new video “I don’t belong to you” is straight fire.
Keke Palmer does a wonderful job with petraying a woman that knows what she wants. In the beginning of the video, Palmer wakes up with singer/actor Rotimi . She quickly gets up, and begins to put her clothes on when Rotimi discovers that she’s about to leave he tried to stop her. That’s when she goes into telling him that she already explained how the situation would pan out. Yet he still looks confused and hurt. When she leaves her car picks her up and take her to her house. When you get to the house, she takes a shower and gets herself dolled up. That’s when her car comes and picks her up again and takes her to another location.
When she gets to the other location and knocks on the door, singer Cassie opens the door standing there a T-shirt and underwear. Its plainly obvious that they want each other and Keke follows Cassie into the house.
When I first saw this video I was so confused. I had to go back and watch it two more times to get a proper conclusion. So what I got from it was that Keke played a character that has no interest in settling down, at the moment. She has her fun but she explains to the people involved that she has no interest in settling down, but they still don’t understand. Hints to the title I don’t belong to you and her repeating keep it on the down low.
Reading the comments under the video, it seems that some women want men to look at this video to see what it feels like.
